Brain Cancer Fundraising

We became aware of a toddler diagnosed with a brain tumor that is nearly always fatal. His tumor required specialized radiation treatment that involved extensive travel.

To support the family and their foundation, our staff created a variety of activities to raise funds. Some of the activities included an in-house ‘shave a beard’ lunch, a fundraising breakfast where the President cooked the food, a white elephant gift exchange auction, and an auction to ‘buy a vacation day.’ We raised over $2,700 that helped the family focus on the needed care for their child rather than worrying about how to pay the bills. Today, he is enrolled in school, active, and enjoying life.
